Welcome to Tattoo Tengu, my new private tattoo studio located in Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast, Queensland. I’m so excited to introduce this new space where I can provide a more personal, relaxed, and creative experience for all my clients. Whether you're looking to get your first tattoo or are a seasoned collector, Tattoo Tengu offers a unique environment where your comfort and artistic vision are my top priority.
Why a Private Tattoo Studio?
The decision to open a private tattoo studio was driven by my desire to provide a more focused and distraction-free environment for both myself and my clients. Being in a private setting allows me to give each client my undivided attention without the interruptions of walk-ins or outside distractions. It’s all about creating a calm, welcoming space where you can feel at ease throughout your sessions.
While the studio is private, this doesn’t mean I’m not excited to see both new and returning clients. To visit, all you need to do is reach out to me via phone or message me on Instagram to schedule an appointment. This is why I’ve chosen not to advertise the physical address publicly.
A Shift to Full-Time Passion: From Foundry Tattoo to Tattoo Tengu
After spending over 9 years at Foundry Tattoo, working along side Vincent and the team, I felt my career was shifting in a new direction. While tattooing has always been my passion but my side hustle—Have Heart Creative—was growing into something I wanted to focus on more. Juggling both tattooing and Creative Career Workshops left me feeling like I needed more freedom and space to expand creatively.
Leaving Foundry Tattoo was a big decision, but it’s allowed me to take a step towards building my own space. The experience I gained there will always be a part of my journey, and I carry those lessons with me into this new chapter.

One of the biggest benefits of a private tattoo studio is the environment it creates. When working on large-scale pieces—especially Japanese tattoos, anime tattoos, or full-body projects like bodysuits or back pieces—it’s essential for clients to feel relaxed and comfortable. There’s no outside audience or distractions, allowing you to fully immerse in the process.
The intimate setting of Tattoo Tengu ensures that you can sit back, relax, and feel completely at ease during long tattoo sessions. For me, creating a private tattoo space has always been about delivering a high-quality, personalized experience that’s comfortable, professional, and friendly.

Consultations: Planning Your Perfect Tattoo
A key feature of Tattoo Tengu is the consultation process. Whether you're planning a large project like a full bodysuit or a smaller, one-shot tattoo, we’ll sit down together to discuss your design. We’ll plan out every detail of your tattoo, and I’ll even document the process with photos and videos to ensure everything is perfectly laid out for your appointment.
For clients who are not local to the Sunshine Coast or who live interstate, I offer video consultations. This allows me to connect with you and plan your tattoo no matter where you are.
