With a history of art and an eye for detail, Ky Loh is a tattoo artist creating long lasting Japanese designs in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. When he’s not in the studio, you can find him drawing and planning murals and paintings for local businesses, parks, schools and homes, bringing a unique style to the area. His style isn’t limited to Japanese influence or traditional tattoos; he’s a modern style mural artist crafting realism, cartoon, patterns and more to suit the environment. Homeowners have added value to their homes with colourful murals poolside, on fences and in traditionally boring areas such as stairwells (but you don’t need to settle for boring if you contact Ky).

PAINTED MURALS FOR BUSINESSES & HOMES

The idea to produce hand painted murals came from Ky’s start in spray painting and arts training. After (literally) making his mark on the Melbourne art scene and finishing his tattoo apprenticeship, Ky injected what he learned from body art and Japanese styling into art for the wider community to enjoy. From burger shops and cafes to schools, parks and government projects, Ky has been commissioned to enhance a wide range of buildings and structures with his art.

In 2024, Ky teamed up with the guys from Shed Life, and was contracted to bring their massive 40 metre workshop wall to life, along with a collection of car parts for a unique, tattoo inspired finish.
